Being across from the temple means we hear the bells every morning and evening, which is quite nice actually. The chawl is always full of life, with kids playing and people talking in the hallways. Our space is small, but it serves its purpose. We manage a few different homes and rooms from here. It’s a hands-on job. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned offices all day. Usually, we are out on the road, checking on properties or meeting with tenants. The Kachore Road area is always busy with traffic and people going to work. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten to know the locals well. It’s a practical kind of life. If a lightbulb goes out or a lock sticks, we’re usually the ones going over to fix it. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just help people find a place to stay that they can afford. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
