Our place is tucked away on Road No. 10 in the Wagle Industrial Estate, specifically at A-59. If you know Thane West, you know this area is always buzzing with trucks and people moving crates around. Gala Precision Engineering Pvt. Ltd. fits right in with the rest of the workshops around here. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find fancy decor or soft chairs. It’s an engineering shop through and through, with the sound of metal and machines being part of the background noise. The walls have been painted a few times, but the industrial dust always finds a way back eventually. We spend our days making sure the precision parts are actually precise, which involves a lot of checking and re-checking. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for hours, but we have some old fans that do their best to move the air. Most of us have been working in this estate for years, so we know the guys at the nearby tea stall pretty well. There’s no corporate talk here; we just say things as they are. If a machine breaks, we fix it. If a shipment is late, we scramble to get it out the door. It’s honest work, and while it’s dusty and loud, it’s what we do. We don't put on a show for anyone who walks in.
