Food Junction

You can find Food Junction over in Jogeshwari West at the Vrindavan Building in Vishal Nag. It’s a local spot that mostly serves the people living in the apartment blocks around here. We’ve been in this building for several years now. The kitchen isn't massive, but we make it work for the kind of stuff we cook. Most of the day is spent prepping vegetables or making sure the stove is ready for the evening rush. It’s one of those places where the regulars don’t even need to look at the menu anymore. They just come in, sit at their usual table, and wait for their food. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant or anything like that. It’s just honest cooking for people who need a quick meal or a snack on their way home. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but that’s just Jogeshwari for you. We have a few helpers who have been with us since we opened. We all just get on with it. The floors get swept a few times a day and the tables are always being wiped down. It’s a basic setup with some fans on the ceiling to keep the air moving. We stay open until the last customer leaves, which is often later than we planned. It’s a steady life, and we know most of the faces that walk through the door every day after work.
