Everest Engineering Works

Down in Dombivli, specifically at W-113 in Phase-Ii of the M.I.D.C. Industrial Area, you’ll find our workshop. Manpada Road is always busy, and the turn-off toward our place can be easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We’ve been here at Everest Engineering Works for a long time. The space is filled with the usual stuff you’d expect—welding sets, scraps of iron, and heavy workbenches that have seen better days. It’s a noisy environment, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. You can hear the trains in the distance sometimes when the machines are off. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s a functional shed where we handle whatever engineering jobs come our way. The floor is concrete and scarred from years of moving heavy parts around. On rainy days, the sound on the metal roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other speak. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here that feels comfortable. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the area, just a reliable one where the work gets finished. When the shift ends, we wash the grease off our hands and head home, ready to do the same thing again the next morning. It’s just how we get by and keep things moving.
