Daily Supermarket

Daily Supermarket is tucked into No. 121 in the Boulevard Mall, part of the Lodha Complex in Majiwada. Since we are in Thane West, things are always moving fast around here. Being in a mall means our hours are a bit different than a regular street shop. We have to follow the mall's schedule, so we are often here late into the evening. It’s a busy spot, especially on the weekends when everyone from the Lodha Complex comes down to do their shopping. The supermarket itself is organized the best way we know how, though it can get a bit messy when a lot of people are browsing the aisles at once. We don't have a big corporate team behind us. It’s just me and a few local staff members who live nearby. We spend our day stocking shelves, checking the registers, and making sure the lights are on. It’s a lot of physical work, standing on your feet all day, but we enjoy the interaction with the regular customers. We see the same people every week, so we’ve gotten to know a lot of the families in Majiwada. We don't have any flashy slogans or big marketing campaigns. We just keep the doors open and try to have what people need when they run out of milk or bread. It’s a straightforward business in a busy part of town and we like it.
