You can find us at Balaji Industrial Estate in Akruli Village, specifically in unit C 123 in Hanuman Nagar, Kandivali East. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise from machinery and trucks coming in and out. Dahanu Metal Pvt Ltd has its roots here among all these other small factories and warehouses. Inside our unit, it is mostly just stacks of metal and some heavy equipment for moving things. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. The air smells a bit like oil and cold steel, which is something you get used to after a few days. We have a small area near the entrance where we sit and talk to clients or handle the paperwork. It is not fancy, just some plastic chairs and a wooden table that has seen better days. The guys working here have been with us for a bit, so they know where everything is kept. Sometimes it feels like we are running out of room because the pieces are so big and heavy. We mostly deal with other businesses that need materials for their own projects. It is a busy life in this part of Kandivali. There is always something that needs to be moved or counted. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as it comes. It is a noisy place but we have gotten used to it over the years.
