Consumer Corner

Boisar is where we decided to set up Consumer Corner. Our shop is right opposite Janta Cycle, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. We are also very close to the vegetable market, so the mornings are always loud and full of people. You can smell the fresh greens and hear the vendors shouting while we are opening up our shutters. It is a basic shop, really. We have all the normal things people in the neighborhood need for their homes. The space inside is a bit tight when we get a shipment in, and we have to stack boxes wherever they fit. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns behind the counter. Sometimes the fans don't work as well as they should when it gets really hot, but we just leave the front door open for the breeze. It is a simple life here in Boisar. We see the same faces every week, people coming in for their regular shopping after they finish at the market. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here because we have been here for a while now. We try to keep things organized, but it gets a bit messy during the busy hours in the evening when everyone comes in at once.
