We are based out in Badlapur East at the B-9/1 spot in the MIDC area. It gets pretty hot here in the afternoons, especially with the machines running all the time. Our workshop is just a normal place where we get the engineering work done. Most days start around nine with some tea before we check what needs fixing or making. There’s always a bit of oil on the floor and the sound of metal hitting metal. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the trucks pass by. It’s an industrial zone, so you expect that kind of thing. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. We aren't fancy people. We just wear our work clothes and get through the list of jobs. Our neighbors at the other units are mostly doing the same thing. You get to know everyone on this side of the MIDC after a few years. There isn't much to say about our history, we just grew into this space over time. It’s full of tools and parts and drawing papers that sometimes get a bit messy. But we know where everything is. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-task. It’s not the quietest office, but it’s where we do our thing every day until the sun goes down and we head home.
