Century Rayon Company

This part of Century Rayon Company is actually located in Kalyan West. We are over at Cross Road Apartments, specifically in flat 202 on the second floor. It is a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a big industrial office. Mrs. Annie P Fernandes manages things here. It is near Masoba Maidan, which is a well-known landmark for anyone living around here. Since we are in an apartment, it is pretty quiet compared to the big factories. We have our files and a few computers set up in the rooms. Most of the work involves keeping track of records and handling local administration for the company. It is a bit of a walk from the station but the area is nice enough. We know the neighbors and the people who live in the other flats. Sometimes it feels a bit strange to be doing business work in a place where people live, but we have made it work for a long time. We do not have any big signs out front or a reception desk. It is just a practical space where we can focus on the paperwork without too many distractions. We usually wrap up before it gets too late so everyone can get home safely. It is a simple setup but it serves the purpose for what we need to do in Kalyan.
