We’ve been here at Plot No. A 11/704 in Sankeshwar Nagar for a good while now. If you head down Manpada Road, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s mostly just us and a few other shops doing their own thing nearby. Most days start early with the sound of the machines turning on. We handle a lot of metalwork and small engineering jobs that come our way. The workshop isn't the biggest, but we make it work with what we have. Sometimes the place gets a bit cluttered with scraps and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. It’s a lot of manual labor, really. You get grease on your hands and the noise can be a bit much if you aren't used to it. We don't have a big front office or anything fancy like that. Just a desk tucked in the corner where we keep the bills and some old notebooks. People from around the neighborhood drop by when they need something fixed or a part made for their own projects. It’s steady work. We don't spend much time worrying about the fancy side of business. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it done right so we can go home at a decent hour. The tea stall nearby keeps us going through the afternoons when things get particularly busy. That's pretty much how it goes here every single day.
