Arun Muchhala International College Of Hotel Management is located on the Thane Ghodbandar Road. If you know Thane West, you know it gets pretty busy with traffic and people moving around. Our college is right in the middle of that. We’ve got students coming in from all over the area to learn how the hotel business works. It’s a lot of hands-on stuff. One day they might be in the kitchen learning how to chop vegetables properly, and the next they’re figuring out how to manage a front desk or clean a room to high standards. The kitchens can get really hot and loud when everyone is cooking at once, but that’s what the real job is like. The building has different sections for different parts of the training. We’ve got some older equipment and some newer stuff too. It’s a mix. Students spend a lot of time in their uniforms, looking sharp even when they’re tired from the commute. We don’t have a lot of time for fluff here. It’s about getting the work done and learning the skills. Most of us who work here have spent time in hotels ourselves, so we know what it takes. It’s a practical place for people who want to work in the industry and don't mind getting their hands dirty while they learn the ropes. The road outside is always loud but inside we just focus on the task.
