Arishaan Travels

If you come to see us, we are up on Level 15 of Dev Corpora. That’s at 1544 Pokhran Road 1. It’s right near Cadbury Junction, so we see the Eastern Express Highway from the windows. Being up this high at Arishaan Travels means we get a good view of the traffic below, which is usually stuck. Most of our day is spent looking at flight schedules and hotel bookings on our computers. It’s a lot of typing and talking on headsets. The office is pretty standard with white walls and those flickering fluorescent lights. We keep a lot of travel brochures around, though people don't look at them as much as they used to. The elevators in Dev Corpora can take a long time during the lunch rush, so we usually just stay at our desks. We drink too much coffee from the machine in the hallway. It’s a busy place with people coming in to ask about visa papers or bus tickets. We try to keep the files organized, but there’s always a pile of paperwork somewhere. The Highway is always noisy, even from fifteen floors up. It’s a strange feeling being in such a tall building while we talk to people about going to far-off places. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There are about six of us here most days, just trying to keep track of all the different time zones and dates. It gets dark early in the winter and the city lights look nice.
