Ambitious Films

We work out of a row house in the Shree Sidhi Ganesh Society in Airoli. It’s Unit 4/4 in Sector 2. It’s a nice area, though sometimes the neighbors wonder why we’re carrying so many black boxes and lights in and out at odd hours. We turned the ground floor into a bit of a studio space, and the upstairs is where we do the editing. It’s a bit cramped when the whole crew is here, but we make it work. There’s always a lot of cables running across the floor, so you have to watch your step. We aren't some big production house in a skyscraper. We’re just a small team making films and videos from a home base. The kitchen is usually full of snacks and empty tea cups because we stay up late finishing edits. Sometimes we sit out on the little porch to get some air when the computers make the room too hot. It feels more like a house than an office, which is fine by us. We’ve got some posters on the walls and a lot of hard drives stacked on the shelves. It can be a bit chaotic during a big project, but we know where everything is. Most of our neighbors are used to us by now and they don’t mind the occasional noise from the playback speakers when we are working.
