Shree Ganesh Fabricators

Our workshop is at Room No. 625 in Dhonegav which is part of the Sawantwadi area near Vengani. It is quite a way out in the Thane District. We are situated near the Sai Baba Temple so that is usually the landmark we tell people to look for when they are visiting. Shree Ganesh Fabricators is basically a metal shop where we do a lot of welding and cutting. The floor is made of rough concrete and is usually covered in black dust and iron filings. We work with heavy metal rods and sheets every day. It is loud and there are sparks flying whenever we are using the grinders or the welding torch. We don't have a website or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from people in the nearby villages or small contractors who need gates or grills made. The room is quite old and the walls are stained from years of soot and heat. It is a tough job and our hands are always dirty by the time we finish for the day. We have a few benches where we sit and take a break when the sun is too high. It is a very simple way of working and we don't try to make it look like anything else. We just do the fabrication work as best as we can with the tools we have. Usually there is some scrap metal piled up outside the door.
