Mani Properties

I’ve been sitting here at 45C on Arumbakkam Road for quite some time now. Most people around here know us as Mani Properties, but to me, it’s just where I come to work every morning. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough to hold all the files and the chairs for when folks drop in to talk. Usually, people are looking for a small place to rent or maybe they want to sell a bit of land they’ve held onto for years. We just try to help them figure out what's what. It gets busy during the middle of the day with the traffic outside on the road, but we stay focused on the paperwork. Sometimes the phone rings all afternoon and other days it’s quiet enough to actually finish a cup of tea before it gets cold. I don't really have a fancy way of describing what we do. We just know this neighborhood well because we've lived and worked here long enough to see which houses changed hands and who is building what. If someone comes in, we sit down and talk through the options. There aren't any big speeches or flashy brochures here. We just use the notebooks on the desk and the maps on the wall. It’s a simple setup, and that seems to work fine for the people who live around Arumbakkam. We’re just here doing the day-to-day work of local property stuff.
