My name is Vankudothu Vijaya and I run my business from my home at H. No. 4-17/1 in Bojya Thanda. This is a small village called Imampet. It’s a quiet place where everyone knows each other’s names. I started this because I wanted to work for myself and help out the people in the village. It’s not a big company with a lot of employees or anything like that. It’s just me and sometimes a family member helps out with the lifting or the daily chores. My house serves as both the office and the workspace. You’ll usually find me there most of the day. It’s a simple setup with just what I need to get through the work. People from around the village and nearby areas come to see me. We talk about what needs to be done and then I get to it. There’s no fancy signage or big front desk to greet people. Just a chair and a table where we can sit and talk. Life in the village is a bit slower than the city, and I really like it that way. I keep my records in a simple notebook. It’s much easier for me to manage that way. If someone needs something, they already know where I live. Word spreads quickly in Imampet, so I don't really feel the need to advertise. I just focus on doing a decent job so people come back next time they need help.
