Dharavath Venkatesh Travels

Based out of house number 4-151 in Gol Thanda, I have been running Dharavath Venkatesh Travels for a while now. This part of Burkacharla village in Mothey is where I grew up and where I keep the vehicles parked. Most of my time is spent on the road, either driving myself or making sure everything is ready for the next trip. Traveling around here can be tricky because some of the back roads are not always in the best shape, especially when it rains heavily. I usually have to keep an eye on the tires and the engine constantly so nothing breaks down when someone is counting on me. It is a lot of waiting around too, waiting for passengers or waiting for the right time to leave. I keep my phone close because you never know when a call might come in for a ride to the next town or even further out. Gol Thanda is a small place so everyone knows who I am and where to find the cars. I don't really use a fancy computer for bookings, mostly just a notebook and my own memory. It gets tiring being away from home so much but the work is steady and it keeps the family going. Every day is a different route and different people, which is okay by me. Usually, the early morning trips are the quietest and best for driving.
