Running Chettupalli Ravi Travells out of H. No 1-1-177/J1/E/A in the Church Compound area keeps us on our toes. This house has been our base for a while, and the 9-Ward neighborhood is where we grew up. We started with just one car and a lot of hope, and now we spend our days coordinating trips all over. The phone is always nearby because people call at all hours wanting a ride to the station or the airport. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s just a room in the house with some chairs and a desk covered in maps and logbooks. The cars are usually parked right outside in the compound, and we spend a lot of time washing them and checking the tires. It’s a lot of driving, and the roads aren’t always great, but it’s what we do. We know every shortcut through the city, which helps when the traffic gets bad. Sometimes we take families on long trips to the countryside, and those are the days we enjoy the most because the air is cleaner. It’s not a fancy life, but it pays the bills and we get to meet many different people. We don’t bother with big advertisements because word of mouth in the Church Compound is enough. We just focus on keeping the vehicles running and making sure everyone gets where they need to go safely.
