Panugothu Srinu

Out here in Bheemla Thanda, life moves a bit differently than it does in the big cities. My place is at H. No. 3-870 in Simhapuri village. It’s a quiet area under Mattampally Mandal in Telangana. I started this because there wasn't much going on right in our immediate thanda, and I wanted to do something useful. It’s mostly just me working from here, handling whatever work comes my way. The house has a small porch where I sit and do most of my thinking or talk to people who come by for help. We are surrounded by a lot of greenery and the air is pretty clean compared to the town. Sometimes it’s hard to get supplies quickly because we are a bit far out, but we manage with what we have. I keep my tools and papers organized on an old wooden table. It isn’t fancy, and there aren’t any corporate meetings or big presentations. It’s more about helping out the people in the village and making sure I can earn a living. The power can be a bit patchy, especially during the monsoon, so I often have to plan my work around the daylight. People in Simhapuri know me well, and they just drop by whenever they need to discuss something. It’s a basic setup, but it works for me and for the community here in the thanda.
