Dharavath Uma

Living and working here in Sriram Thanda is quiet most of the time. Our place at H. No;9-73/5 is where everything happens. It is part of the Thatipamula village area under Thirmal Giri Mandal. Life moves at its own pace here. We wake up when the birds start and get to work. It’s not a big office or anything like that. Just a room where we keep our things. People from the mandal know us and stop by. The roads are a bit dusty, especially during the dry season. We do what we can with what we have. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just focus on the physical tasks. It is a family thing, really. Everyone helps out a bit. My name is on the paper but it’s a group effort. We see the same faces every day and that is nice. The house number is easy to find if you know the landmark near the H/O. We don’t have big signs or bright lights. Just a simple life in the district. We grow some vegetables in the back too. It keeps us busy when the main work is slow. It’s been this way for a few years now. We don’t plan too far ahead, just take each day as it comes. It is a good place to be, surrounded by people who have lived here forever.
