Mandan Jayaram Singh

This is Mandan Jayaram Singh's place. We are located out in Bojjagudem Thanda, which is part of Shanthi Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't from around the Ananthagiri area. We do a bit of everything that's needed in our village. Mostly people know us for helping out with basic paperwork or getting general goods that are hard to find. It’s just a family-run operation. The house number is 2-88 if you're looking for it. It's a quiet spot, away from the main road noise. My father started this years ago and now I'm mostly taking care of the daily bits and pieces. We don't have many employees, maybe just a neighbor who helps when things get extra busy during the harvest time. Life moves pretty slow here in the Kodad area. We see the same faces every day and we like it that way. It's not like the city shops where nobody knows your name or cares about your day. We remember what you bought last time you came by. Sometimes the internet signal is slow so things take longer than they should. We just sit and chat while the computer loads. It’s a simple life for us. We don't have big signs or neon lights. Most people find us by asking around at the post office in Ananthagiri. We try to be helpful to everyone. That’s about it. There isn't a long history or some grand vision.
