Banothu Mounika

This is Banothu Mounika. I am based out of my house, number 7-67, in Bheelyanaik Thanda. It’s a local spot in Yathavakilla, which falls under Mattampally. I’ve been working from here for a while now because it’s where I live and where my roots are. Most people who come by are from the surrounding villages. We don't have a big sign or anything like that, just the house and the work we do every day. It’s a quiet life for the most part, but we stay busy enough to keep going. I think it’s important to have someone local who people can trust. You don't need a big corporate building to be useful to your neighbors. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit tricky, but that’s just part of living in this part of the country. I spend most of my time making sure everything is handled correctly. It’s not always easy, but it’s what I know. I don't use much technology, just the basics to get things recorded. People know they can find me here if they need anything related to what I do. It is just a regular house where work happens. We don't try to be something we aren't. It’s just me, Banothu Mounika, trying to do a decent job for the folks around Mattampally. No big stories, just the daily routine of working and living in our thanda.
