Anant Engineering Works

You can find us over at Plot No. 55/3 in Phase-1. It is a busy part of the industrial zone, and there is always something happening on our street. Our workshop is full of tools that have been used so much the handles are smooth. We do engineering work, mostly the heavy kind that involves a lot of sparks and the smell of hot metal. It is not the cleanest job in the world, and by the end of the shift, everyone usually has some oil or soot on their clothes. We don't really have a front office with air conditioning. We just have a small cabin with a fan that makes a clicking sound when it turns. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor anyway. We have had the same neighbors for years, and we often borrow supplies from each other when someone runs short. The rain can be a problem during the monsoon because the yard gets muddy, but we just put down some planks and keep moving. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We are just a local shop where people work hard with their hands. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them instead of producing anything, but that is part of the life we chose here in Phase-1. We just want to do the work properly and go home.
