Dilkhush Restaurant & Parotha House

We are right here in Surendranagar near the new railway under bridge. It’s a spot most locals know because of the traffic moving through the Ho area. Dilkhush Restaurant & Parotha House isn’t some big chain or anything like that. It’s just us, making parothas and serving whoever walks through the door. The morning starts early with the flour and the heat from the kitchen. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the bridge has seen a lot of changes, but we mostly stay the same. People come in when they’re hungry for something simple. The chairs might not match perfectly and the noise from the trains and the bridge is always there in the background, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a fancy menu with photos. It's just a board on the wall. Sometimes we run out of stuff by the evening if it’s been a busy day. My cousin helps out with the serving and I handle the stove most of the time. It gets hot in the summer, but the fans keep the air moving a bit. We don't spend money on big ads or social media stuff. If you’re around the under bridge, you can usually smell the butter from the street. It’s a plain place for plain food. We just try to get the orders out fast so people can get back to their work or their homes in Surendra Nagar.
