Shrdha Restaurant

Our place is located in Surendranagar, right near the Head Office area. If you live around here in Gujarat, you know it can get pretty dusty and hot during the day. Shrdha Restaurant is just a simple building where we serve meals to anyone who walks in. I usually spend my time at the front, watching the street and making sure the tables are wiped down properly. We don’t have a long history or some big corporate backing. It’s just a local business we started to serve the community. The menu doesn't change much because people like what they like. We have the usual stuff you’d expect in a small town eatery. Some days are slow, especially when the sun is really beating down and nobody wants to go outside. Other days we get a big rush around lunchtime. My staff is small, just a couple of guys from the nearby village who needed work. We talk about the weather or the local news while we wait for the next customer to arrive. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. There are no colorful signs or big promises here. You just come in, get your food, and go about your day. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and we’ve become a part of the daily landscape in Surendranagar Ho. It’s just what we do to get by.
