Shree Saidhar Restaurant

You’ll find us in Dhrangadhra, right by the Old Vegetable Market. This part of town has a lot of energy, especially in the early hours when the farmers are bringing in their goods. We are tucked into a spot that has been part of the community for quite some time. The restaurant is small and the walls have seen a lot of years go by. We don't have those fancy digital menus. Everything is just how it has always been. People who come here are usually locals who have been living in Surendra Nagar their whole lives. They know the sounds of the market outside and they don't mind the occasional stray dog wandering near the door. The kitchen is a tight space, but we manage to get everything done. We use the produce from right across the street because it makes the most sense. There’s a certain way the light comes through the front door in the evening that makes the whole place look a bit softer. We don’t spend money on marketing or big banners. Word of mouth is usually how people find out we are still here. It’s a humble place where the tea is always hot and the floor is a bit uneven in the corners. We just keep showing up every day and doing the work that needs doing.
