WEAVEART TEXTILES LLP

Our place, Weaveart Textiles LLP, is located on the first floor, D/17, in Sagar Society. That’s in the Kapodara area on Varachha Road. If you know Surat, you know Varachha is the place for textiles. Sagar Society is a mix of homes and small businesses. We’re on the first floor, so we have a bit of a view of the street. It’s always noisy outside with the bikes and the vendors. We do weaving work, or at least we manage the textile side of things from here. The office is simple, nothing fancy. We have some samples on the walls and desks piled with papers. We spend our time talking to weavers and checking on the looms. Varachha Road is always a bit of a mess with traffic, but that’s where the action is. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make good fabric and get it to our buyers. It’s hard work and some days are better than others. We like being in Kapodara because everyone here understands the textile business. You don't have to explain things twice. We just get on with it and try to keep the business moving forward year after year. It is a long day usually, but seeing the finished fabric makes it worth the effort.
