Vrunda Beauty Parlour & Classes

We are over here in Ratnasagar Society on L.H. Road, specifically in shop number one on the first floor. It is right next to the SMC Party Plot. Being in Varachha means it is always busy outside. Vrunda Beauty Parlour is not just about doing hair and makeup, we also run classes. I teach girls from the neighborhood how to do basic salon work so they can find jobs or start their own small thing. The shop has two parts, one for the customers and a little corner for the students to practice. It gets a bit crowded when we have a full class and customers waiting at the same time. The walls have some charts about skin and hair types that I use for teaching. I have lived in Surat my whole life and I have seen this area grow so much. We use simple equipment that works well. I do not see the point in buying overpriced machines just for show. My students help me out with the daily chores like cleaning the brushes and keeping the floor tidy. We get a lot of brides during the wedding season because the party plot is right next door. It is a lot of running around, but I enjoy the buzz. People know us for being straightforward. We tell you what we can do and then we just do it. It is a busy life but it is good. We have been part of this community for a long time now.
