Mepa Designing Institute

Mepa Designing Institute is right in the middle of Mota Varachha here in Surat. We have Shop Number 215 in the Dhara Arcade on Satellite Road. It’s a pretty busy commercial building with all sorts of businesses around us. Directly across from us is the big Swaminarayan Temple, which is a really beautiful landmark to have right there. We see people going in and out of the temple all day long. In the office, we have our computers set up for the design work. It’s usually a mix of students coming in to learn and us working on our own projects. The arcade can get quite noisy in the afternoons when all the shops are open and people are walking around. Surat is a city that never really stops, and Mota Varachha is no different. We spend most of our time teaching people how to use the design software and explaining the basics of how things should look on the screen. It’s not a very big shop, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. There’s a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea during our breaks. We don't really do anything formal; it's a very relaxed environment where people can just sit and learn at their own pace. Sometimes we stay late when someone needs extra help with a design, but that’s just how it goes. The temple lights up nicely in the evening, which is a good view.
