Vatsal Chemist

Vatsal Chemist is located on the 2nd floor of Sargam Doctor House. We are right on Varachha Road in the Hirabagh area. Being on the second floor is a bit different from most shops that are right on the street. People have to come up the stairs to see us. Since we are in a building full of doctors, it stays pretty busy throughout the day. There is always the sound of people talking and feet moving in the hallways. The shop itself is tucked away, and we have to be very organized because the space is limited. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. Varachha Road is one of the busiest places in Surat, with all the diamond workers and traffic. Even up on the second floor, you can hear the rumble of the street. We don't have much of a view, just the other buildings nearby. We spend our time filling orders and making sure the supplies are fresh. It’s a lot of standing and reaching for boxes. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work right, so we have to carry things up the stairs. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. We don't have a big marketing plan. People coming from the clinics just find us because we are right there. It’s a busy, practical place to work every day.
