Vasu Chemist

You can find Vasu Chemist at Shop 3 in the Payal Complex. We are out in the Kim area, specifically Navapara. It’s a bit different out here compared to the middle of Surat city. It’s a bit more open, though the industrial units nearby keep things moving. The complex is just a regular building. Our shop is simple. We have the glass counter in the front and the tall racks in the back. It’s usually just one or two of us here. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the people from the nearby villages and worker housing. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or bright neon signs. We just have a basic board outside. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we keep a flashlight handy. People come in for all sorts of things, mostly common stuff they need for their families. We try to keep a good variety of items because it’s a long way to the bigger hospitals. We know most of our customers by name. It’s a practical way to live. We wake up, open the shutters, and see who the day brings. The dust from the road settles on everything, so we are always cleaning the counters. It’s a bit of a repetitive job, but it’s what we do. No complaints. We are just a small part of the Kim neighborhood.
