Our place is out in Village Laskana, which is in the Kamrej area. It is quite a bit outside the main Surat city, so it feels a little quieter until you actually get inside the industrial park. We are at B-37 in the Kalathiya Industrial estate. It is mostly just a lot of warehouses and small factories around this area. We spend our time managing the production and making sure the fabric is coming off the machines without any issues. The commute can be a bit of a pain depending on the road work near the village, but once we are here, there is plenty of work to keep us busy. We have some space for the stock, and we try our best to keep it organized, but sometimes when a lot of material arrives at once, the floor gets a bit crowded. We aren't doing anything fancy; it is just basic textile work. We check the yarn, set the machines, and watch the meters roll up as the day goes by. Sometimes the village has power cuts, and we have to wait it out or get the generator running. Most of the people working here live nearby in the village or close by. We do not have a big office with air conditioning; it is mostly just a table and some plastic chairs in a corner of the shed. We focus on getting the work done so we can head home.
