Venus Placement Service

We are located in Annd Apartment, units 10 and 11, right across from the Fortune Galaxy on NH 8. Being so close to the national highway means it is always loud with the sound of heavy trucks rushing past. Venus Placement Service is a small setup where we spend our time looking through piles of printed resumes and making phone calls. The office feels a bit cramped because we have so many files stacked on the floor. People are always coming in and out, some looking for jobs and others looking for workers. We have a small waiting area with a few old chairs, but it usually fills up pretty quickly. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking noise that we have stopped noticing after all these years. We spend a lot of time talking to people, trying to understand what they are looking for. It is not a corporate headquarters with marble floors; it’s just a place in an apartment building where we do our daily business. We usually have a pot of tea going and some biscuits for when we get a break between interviews. The view out the window is just the highway and the big billboard across the road. We stay here until late in the evening sometimes, just trying to finish up the paperwork for the day and get the files organized for tomorrow.
