Nidhi Placement Service

Our office is right beside the Shiv Prakash Memorial School, so we hear the kids playing during recess every single day. It’s a nice sound to work to. Nidhi Placement Service is just a small room where we try to help people find work. Across from us is the Sai Maruti Garage, so there’s usually the sound of engines revving or tools clanking over there too. It’s a lively little neighborhood to be in. We spend a lot of time looking at resumes and talking on the phone with different companies. People come in looking for all sorts of jobs, and we do our best to point them in the right direction. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a bunch of secretaries. It’s just a desk, a few chairs, and a computer that’s seen better days. We write things down in notebooks because it's easier sometimes. The school bell lets us know when it's time for lunch or when the day is almost over. We’ve helped quite a few people from around here get their first jobs or find something better when they needed it. It’s not always easy, and some days are slower than others when the phone doesn't ring at all. But we stay open and keep track of who is hiring. Being near the garage and the school means there's always something to see out the window while we wait for the next person to walk in.
