Vaghani Texfab Llp is tucked away in Shanti Nagar Society, over in the Sarthana area of Kamrej. Our unit is at number 183. It’s a regular neighborhood, so you wouldn’t really know there’s a textile business here unless you walked right up to the door. We like it that way. It’s quiet enough to get work done but close enough to the main parts of Surat to keep things moving. We’ve been in the fabric business for a long time. It’s what our families did, and it’s what we do now. The space inside Shanti Nagar is filled with rolls of cloth and the hum of the machines. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us and a few workers from the locality. We spend our mornings checking the quality of the weaves and making sure the orders are ready for the trucks. Sometimes the narrow streets in the society make it tricky for big deliveries, but we’ve figured out the timing. It’s a hands-on job. You get dust on your clothes and your hands are always busy. We don’t make things sound better than they are. We just work with textiles and try to make sure the fabric is what people asked for without any fuss. If you’re ever near Kamrej, you might see our small sign. We’ve been here at 183 Shanti Nagar for years, and we plan to stay put. It’s a decent place to work for all of us.
