Unique Traders

The shop is at number 2 in the Zainee Building, which is right in Rustampura. If you know where the police station is, you can find us pretty easily because we are right near it. Unique Traders is just a small operation we run. It’s not anything fancy with big glass windows or anything like that. We mostly just deal with the daily business of trading. The street outside is always noisy because of the traffic and the people coming and going from the station. We’ve been here long enough that the noise just becomes background sound after a while. Sometimes the building feels a bit old, but it does the job. We open the shutters early and start sorting through whatever came in the day before. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lists and making sure the stock is where it should be. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you’re on the phone and the next you’re moving boxes. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. It's a practical way to spend the day. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to say hello. It feels like a real part of the community here in Rustampura.
