Jay Jalaram Paper Products

If you take the Madhuban Dam Road, you’ll find Jay Jalaram Paper Products at Survey No. 87. We are right across from the Sterlite Industries plant. It’s easy to find because of the big trucks always turning in and out of the neighbor's gate. We make various paper items here. It might be boxes or tubes or just flat sheets, depending on what the order is for that week. The humidity near the dam can sometimes make the paper a bit soft, so we have to be careful with how we store things. Our building is a simple corrugated metal structure. It gets loud when the cutting machines are going. We’ve been operating here for a while now, and the team is mostly local folks who know the machines inside and out. We don't have a big corporate board or anything. It's just the owner and a few supervisors walking the floor. We drink a lot of chai to keep going during the long shifts. The stacks of paper can get pretty high, so we have to watch our step. It’s a busy life, always watching the clock to make sure the delivery van leaves on time. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to make the paper products and keep the customers coming back. It's a basic way to earn a living and we take it one stack at a time.
