Ulva Exports Llp

Ulva Exports Llp is tucked away in the Surat Tex Mar Coop Soc Ltd building, specifically at shop V1135. We are right on the Ring Road in the Umarwada area, so the noise from the traffic is basically constant. If you know the Kamala Darwaja area, you know how crowded it gets with all the rickshaws and delivery vans. Our office is in the Jjac Market section, which is a real maze if you aren't used to it. We spend a lot of time moving between the different blocks and the warehouse space at Syn95 and 96. It’s a very busy environment with people shouting and carts rattling across the floors. The air smells a bit like new fabric and exhaust fumes most of the time. We have a small desk where three of us sit squeezed together to manage the ledger books and the shipping manifests. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes and everyone just stops and sighs until the generator kicks in. We grab lunch from the local stalls because the food is better there than anything we could bring from home. It's a tough, fast-paced way to spend the day, but being right in the heart of the textile market means we are always in the middle of the action. We just keep our heads down and work.
