Ujval Pharmacy

I spend most of my time behind the counter here at Ujval Pharmacy. The shop is located at Shop No2 in Saraswati Appt, which is right in the Dabholi Gam area. It is not a very big place, but we keep the shelves pretty full with what people around Akhand Anand Society usually need. Some days the overhead fan makes a bit of clicking noise, but you just get used to it after a while. I have been in this same spot for quite some time now, watching the neighbors grow up and the street change. People usually stop by after they finish work or when they are on their way to the local market. It gets a bit dusty being on the ground floor, so there is always a lot of cleaning to do in the mornings. We do not have any fancy displays or bright flashing lights. It is just the rows of medicine bottles and some daily essentials. If someone comes in looking for something specific and I do not have it, I try to see if it is in the storage or if I can get it delivered by the next day. The society is mostly quiet, except for when the school bus comes by. Sometimes the delivery drivers arrive late, and the floor gets crowded with boxes for a few hours. It is just about making sure the people in Dabholi Gam get what they need without a lot of hassle. It is a simple life running this shop.
