Total Education

Total Education is located at 150, Rukshmani Society on Street No 4. We are in the 395003 area of Surat, right near Sarita Society and the well-known Kargil Chowk. Our place is basically a converted part of a residential building, so it has a very local, neighborhood feel to it. It’s not like those big learning centers you see on the main roads. We have a few rooms where we’ve set up desks and chairs for the students. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except when the kids are arriving or leaving. We have a small porch where parents sometimes wait if they’re early to pick up their children. Most of the students live within walking distance, so there are always bicycles parked out front. We’ve been in Rukshmani Society for quite a while now and we know the rhythm of the place. The rooms are filled with books and old question papers we’ve collected over the years. We don’t use any fancy technology, just markers and a board and a lot of patience. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. We start our batches in the late afternoon and keep going until late evening. It’s a lot of work, but we enjoy seeing the kids finally get a difficult concept. We just do our best to help them with their exams without any unnecessary fuss.
