Surti Fabric Industrial Association

Surti Fabric Industrial Association has its office at A-401, Ashwmegh Palace. This is in the Kosad area, right across from Shreenath Ji Gardania. It is a nice enough place to have an office. We deal with all the association stuff from this apartment-style setup. It is not a factory or a shop, just a place for meetings and keeping track of things for the fabric industry here. From our window, we can see the garden, which is a nice break from looking at computer screens all day. We have some old furniture and a lot of registers filled with names and dates. It is not very modern, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time talking to members and trying to sort out various issues that come up. Being in Kosad means we are a bit away from the main city chaos, but still close enough to stay connected. We do not have any big slogans or goals that sound like they came from a brochure. We are just here to help the local industry folks however we can. The office usually smells like tea because we drink a lot of it while we talk. Sometimes the building lift is broken, so we have to walk up to the fourth floor. That is just how it goes sometimes. We are just regular people doing association work.
