SURAT APPAREL PARK ASSOCIATION

We spend most of our time up here on the 7th floor of Marediyan Tower. If you know Udhna Darwaja, you know it gets pretty busy around here, especially with all the traffic behind Rajkumar. Our office, 701, is usually full of people coming in and out to talk about the apparel business in Surat. It isn't a fancy place with lots of decorations, just a lot of desks and chairs and stacks of paperwork everywhere you look. Most days start early with tea and someone complaining about the elevator speed. We have been in this spot for a while now, watching the city grow taller around us. It's mostly just local folks trying to figure out the clothing industry rules and helping each other out when things get complicated. We don't have any big speeches or grand ideas, just the daily work of keeping the association running. Sometimes the fans make a clicking sound that drives us crazy, but we get used to it. People drop by without calling first, which is fine because that’s just how things work here. We mostly talk about fabrics, workers, and what the next season might look like for the park. It’s loud, a bit messy sometimes, and there is always someone looking for a file that got misplaced. That’s just life at Surat Apparel Park Association. We’re just a group of people in an office trying to stay organized in a very busy city.
