Stylish Bazaar

Our place is spread across three shops, numbers four, five, and six, over at Behjat Palace. If you know the Salabatpura area, you know it’s right near the fish market. It gets quite loud and lively around here, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Having three units next to each other means we have a bit more room, but it also means more floor to sweep and more shelves to keep straight. We spend a lot of time just moving stuff between the units. The area around the fish market has its own smell and energy, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. It’s a very local vibe. We open up early enough to catch the first rush. Usually, one of us is busy with paperwork in the back while the others are out front. The lighting in the palace building isn't always the brightest, so we try to keep things organized so we can find what we need quickly. It’s a practical setup for what we do. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; it's mostly just about having the space to keep the items we have. Being in Salabatpura means we see a lot of the same faces every week, which makes the days go by a bit faster. It’s a lot of work, but we are used to the routine of this neighborhood. We often keep the doors open to let some air in, even if it brings in the street noise.
