Sony Ericsson Experience Store

Over in Athwa, we have this store where we deal with all sorts of phones and gadgets. It’s a place where people come to actually hold the devices and see how they feel in their hands. We have a few display tables set up, though they aren't as fancy as the ones you see in the big malls. Most of our day is spent answering questions about battery life or camera quality. We get a lot of walk-ins from the Athwa area, people just curious about what’s new or needing a specific charger they lost. The shop is usually quiet in the mornings, which gives us time to clean the fingerprints off the glass and tidy up the boxes in the back. By the evening, it gets a bit more crowded with people stopping by on their way home. We try to keep things relaxed here, so nobody feels pressured to buy anything right away. We’ve got some old promotional posters still hanging up that we probably should have taken down a year ago. It feels more like a local hangout sometimes because we know so many of the people who come in. We don't have a big script we follow, we just talk to people like normal and try to help them find what they need. It’s a small operation, and we like being part of the community here in Athwa. It keeps things interesting and keeps us on our toes every day.
