Bhatias Mobile Shop

Bhatias Mobile Shop is situated on Rander Ram Nagar Main Road. It’s a very prominent spot and we’ve been here for a long time. The main road is always full of activity, which means we get a lot of people just dropping in to see what’s new. We have a lot of different mobile phones on display in the glass cabinets. The shop is narrow, so we have to be careful when moving around behind the counter. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about battery life or camera quality. Rander is a lively part of the city and we feel right at home here. The walls are lined with rows of colorful phone cases. We don’t have a fancy air conditioning system, just a couple of wall fans that keep the air moving. Our desk in the back is usually piled with boxes from recent deliveries. We don't use any complicated sales tactics. We just show people what we have and tell them the price. Sometimes we have a little bit of a chat about the weather or local news. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We open up early and stay until the street lights come on. The shop has become a bit of a landmark for people in Ram Nagar. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a honest local business on a busy street. It is a steady life for us here.
