We are based in the Poddar Arcade on J L Nehru Road in Sayedpura. Our office is number 5. It is a brick building that has been around for many years. To get to us, you have to walk up some stairs that are a bit steep. The office itself is not very large. It is filled with cabinets and stacks of paper. We handle various business services for people in the area. It is quiet work compared to the shops on the street. We have a few old wooden desks and some chairs for visitors. The windows are usually closed to keep out the noise of the traffic from J L Nehru Road. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the work that needs to be finished. Sometimes the power goes out and the whole building gets dark. We just wait it out or use our phone lights. We don't have any flashy signs or modern office furniture. It is a very functional place. Most of our clients are people we have known for a long time. They come in and we sit down to go over their files. It is a slow and steady way of working. We don't use any fancy software, just the basics that get the job done. The arcade has many other small offices like ours. We all know each other and say hello in the hallway. It is a decent place to work.
