Dhartidhan Marble

We set up Dhartidhan Marble right on the Vapi-Silvassa Main Road, just across from the Patel Petrol Pump. You can't really miss all the stone slabs leaning against the walls outside our lot. We spend most of our time out in the yard moving heavy tiles and showing people the different patterns in the marble. It’s dusty work and can be quite tiring in the heat, but we’re used to it after all these years. The shop is more of a warehouse than a fancy showroom. We don't have air conditioning or polished marble floors inside the office, even though we sell the stuff for everyone else's house. We mostly deal with local contractors and people building their own homes who want something that looks good and lasts. Dealing with heavy stone means we have to be careful, and we’ve had our fair share of chipped corners and sore backs. We just try to be honest about what each type of stone is good for and what it isn't. The traffic on the main road is always buzzing by, which brings in a lot of random people stopping to take a look at what we have. We aren't pushy sales types; we just let the stone speak for itself. It’s a simple business of buying and selling slabs, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the difference between a good piece and a bad one.
