Over at 15 Udhna Doddanekundi, inside the Shivam Complex, you will find Shree Sadguru Krupa Tiles & Hardware. We are a typical local shop that stocks a bit of everything for home repairs and construction. The shop is filled with stacks of tiles in different colors and boxes of hardware like screws, hinges, and faucets. It can be a bit of a maze sometimes because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space we have. When a customer walks in, we usually have to move a few boxes to show them exactly what they are looking for. We have been here in Shivam Complex for a while and have seen the neighborhood change around us. Most people come in because they are fixing something at home or building a new bathroom. We don't have a big sales team. It is just us behind the counter. We listen to what people need and try to find the best fit from what we have on the shelves. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to apologize to the customers waiting for their tiles, but we try to make it right. It is a busy life, especially on Saturday mornings when everyone decides to start a project at the same time. We enjoy the work and the people we meet every day. It feels good to see someone leave with exactly the right part for their house so they can finish their work.
