Classic Marble Imex Pvt. Ltd.

Out here in Village Athal, things are a bit quieter than the big cities. Classic Marble Imex is located at Survey No. 130/2. It’s mostly dust and stone around here. We spend our days moving heavy blocks and cutting them down. Marble is heavy, so you have to be careful with your feet and hands. The guys in the yard have tough hands from all the lifting. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them on the fly. It's not a glamorous job. We get shipments in and we send them out. The weather in Athal can be pretty dry. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the stones. If someone needs a slab, we show them what we have in the yard. Every piece is different, some have cracks or weird patterns, but that’s just nature. We try to keep the place organized, though it gets messy with all the stone scraps and water used for cutting. Dealing with imports or exports sounds big, but it’s really just a lot of paperwork and waiting for trucks. We’ve been at this spot for some time. We know the neighbors. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple setup. Not much to look at from the outside, but we get things done eventually. Most of the staff live nearby.
