You can find our shop inside the Radha Krishna Textile Market in the Begumpura area of Surat. We are in shops 2468 and 2469 on the G/2 floor. This market is a huge place, right opposite Nawabwadi, and it can be a bit like a maze if you don't know your way around. We spend our days surrounded by all kinds of fabrics and different designs. Being in a textile market like this means there is constant movement around us. There are always workers carrying big bundles of cloth and people shouting out orders across the halls. Our shop is where we keep all our latest samples and handle the daily sales. It can get quite dusty with all the fabric fibers in the air, but we don't mind it much. We have been in this trade for a long time. Our work is mostly about following the trends and seeing what people are looking for each season. We don't have a big corporate office; it is just a shop where we do everything from taking new orders to checking our stock. The tea guy comes around a few times a day, and that is usually the only break we get. It is a busy life here in Begumpura. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out. We aren't doing anything fancy, just running a regular business.
